Dennis Crouch received his Bachelor’s degree in fine art education from Kansas State Teachers College (now Emporia State University). Then, because of an interest in graphic design as a business, Dennis earned his Associate’s degree in graphic design from OSU-Okmulgee (now Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology). He brought his fine art talent in painting and three-dimensional design with him as he pursued a career as a graphic designer. With a love for typography and page design, Dennis developed a solid career as a graphic designer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He worked for art studios and advertising agencies during his early years, and later formed his own design firm, which eventually led to the business partnership of Crouch Swan & Associates.
During his career, Dennis provided design expertise to a variety of industrial, manufacturing, and consumer clients as well as advertising agencies and non-profit organizations. As the design business grew, his love of fine art continued, leading to his interest in watercolor painting and photography.
Although graphic design was a major part of his life, Dennis still had a desire to work with young adults and to fulfill his initial goal as a teacher. He instructed some watercolor workshops, supervised college interns, and served in children’s ministries with the Church. Eventually, his focus turned to education and a new career as a graphic design and multimedia instructor at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology.

He also became interested in computer graphics and began learning about digital media, digital illustration, and 3D modeling. As his interests grew and his skill level developed, Dennis was led into the new and exciting world of multimedia.
